Zucchini pizzas.... For dinner

So tonight for dinner, we were craving pizza...but we all know that pizza isn't very healthy for you. So I decided to make pizza on sliced zucchini....
Ingredients: 3-4 zucchini Organic pizza sauce Mozzarella cheese Turkey pepperoni
Steps: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees 1. Wash and dry the zucchini, then slice them as thin or thick as you like. 2. Cook the zucchini for 5-7 minutes, the flip the and cook an additional 5-7 minutes on the other side. 3. Take the zucchini out and put a table spoon or less of the sauce in each slice. 4. Top with cheese and pepperoni. 5. Put back in the oven and cook until the cheese is melted... Take out 6. Enjoy!

My personal review on Shakeology as a meal replacement is....

It is very filling and helps curb hunger and junk food pangs.... Many times it keeps me feeling full that I am not constantly thinking about food and what I am eating next. I usually drink my shake around 6:30 a.m. and I don't eat my next snack till 10:30 or 11:00... I have been drinking shakeology about 4 months consistently and working out. My body loves all the nutrient that I am getting from the shake!!! :)

My husband and I both do the shakes and are seeing great results with our overall health and well being. I feel great during the day! I have more energy, less cravings for junk food, and it has improved my digestive system!!! I never miss a day!!

I LOVE TACOS! But not necessarily the calories from the taco shells, chips, or tortillas. I was on pinterest searching for clean eating ideas and I came across this photo for Taco Lettuce Wraps. What a healthy way to enjoy tacos without the regret of the extra calories. I modified the recipe to fit into the 21-day fix.

How to A Make Taco Lettuce Wrap

Ingredients you need

  • 1 Pound ground turkey
  • 1 Package Taco Seasoning (Low Sodium) or Southwest seasoning from the 21-day fix
  • 3/4 Cup Water
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Tomato’s
  • Sour Cream (I omitted this)
  • Salsa
  • Lettuce (not iceberg)
 

Instructions

Step 1 – In a pan, brown the ground beef / turkey until browned
Step 2 – Add the Taco Seasoning / southwest seasoning and water to the ground beef and simmer for five minutes
Step 3 – Using the Lettuce like a boat to make a wrap add a half cup of taco meat and then add your choice of fixings like tomato’s, cheese, sour cream, etc.  Enjoy!

These are so easy to make, you could even make the taco meat and keep it warm in the slow cooker until you’re ready for supper.
